Janet and Luke, representing Darts (Doncaster Community Arts), performed at a Garden Gig on a glorious day with a very appreciative audience who came, listened to music and, all in all, had a jolly time singing along and occasionally using musical instruments for accompaniment.
Because of Covid restrictions, numbers were limited and social distancing rules were observed. As it was so popular it is hoped to repeat it with more people once the rules have been relaxed.
The light refreshments provided were welcomed, not only for their own sake, but for the opportunity to socialise with others, to make new friends and to reacquaint with old ones. Also appreciated was the time to wander in the beautiful setting of a large garden, which gave rise to the event being renamed the Party in the Park.
