129 golfers took part in a Charity Golf Day at Wheatley Golf Club as part of Dementia Action Week.
This was the 16th year such an event has taken place and has raised in excess of £30,000 during that time. The event has gone from strength to strength raising £2416 this year for the local registered charity DonMentia.
The local chairity has been raising funds for 6 years and Wayne Goddard a Trustee of the Charity and organiser of the event said, “peoples generosity and support never fails to surprise me and this money will go a long way to supporting people affected by dementia living in Doncaster.”
